1- UNIDO Investment Programme This is an introduction to the Investment Promotion Program, how it supports national investment promotion agencies and how foreign direct investment can play a role in the development of the host economy. 3- UNIDO Subcontracting and Partnership Exchange Centre (SPX) at a glance This video explains how the SPX programme enables local companies to link up with and attract foreign investments, by establishing linkages with the value chains of large international enterprises. Domestic companies can benefit from being suppliers to foreign operations and by using the outputs of foreign companies to add further value to their products.

4- Context and trends This video explains the context in which subcontracting operates and the trends affecting it from the global and the host country perspective. It gives important definitions like what is Sub-Contracting, the depth of Sub-Contracting arrangements and what makes it successful.

5- Promotion and profiling This video provides an overview of the promotional aspects of an SPX Centre and how through the profiling tool, SPX information about the suppliers is collated to establish the SPX Centre’s data base.

6- Benchmarking and supplier development This module gives an extensive overview of two key services provided by the SPX Programme. It provides a definition, what processes are involved and how those services can be used to improve and upgrade domestic supplier firms.

7- Engaging with buyers and working with the UNIDO Management Information System This module explains the buyer engagement process as well as the match making process between supplier and buyers. It also shows how to get the best utilize the SPX Management Information System, as well as and finally it identifying KPIs necessary to monitor and manage the success of the Centre.
